The ITALGRIP® System is used to restore functional
and mechanichal parameters on old pavements or to increase those parameters
on new surfaces, both for cement concrete or asphalt concrete.
The ITALGRIP® System is the ideal solution for
the areas where the maintenance is too expensive or dangerous for operators
or drivers.
|
|
|
The ITALGRIP® System weight is only 4 Kg/m²
therefore it is the ideal anti-skid treatment for bridges and
viaducts.
The ITALGRIP® System is suitable for safety
reasons and as element of prevention of the decay of the pavement
and the entire structure; it is placed as a layer to prevent hydrocarbon
attacks and to guarantee a waterproofing surface.
|
|
|
|
The ITALGRIP® System guarantees reduced braking
distances, by so doing it offer a real deal to the safety for
drivers entering and travelling through tunnels.
The ITALGRIP® System reduces the maintenance
for the pavement. This kind of maintenance is often expensive,
complex for the redirection of traffic and not safety for the
operating staff.
|
|
|
|
The ITALGRIP® System is ideal for use on
all roads where maintenance operations cause traffic backups and
stress the patience of the traveling public or where the thickness
of traditional pavement overlays would cause logistic problems
at overpasses or drainage appurtenances. Because the ITALGRIP®
System is so thin (only 4-5mm) it doesn't require that
adjustments be made to shoulders, sidewalks or manholes and drains.
|
Due
to its unique characteristics, the ITALGRIP® System
is ideal for application on areas of roadways experiencing frictional
problems or incidences of black ice, such as at toll booths, on ramps,
on curves, or at intersections. It can even be used on loading docks
and gas station fueling areas - any area where you want the friction
and protection advantages that ITALGRIP offers.
ITALGRIP® System can be used on any asphalt or
PCC surface as a new antiskid layer where the condition of the existing
pavement will provide a good service life, but where the Friction has
shown to be insufficient to ensure the safety of the Public.
